The BIG haircut!!

Ava and I had been talking for awhile about getting her haircut! She was so excited...she sat down in the chair and said, "I want it cut like my mom's." So Jordyn cut it all stacked up in the back...so cute!

She grew up before my eyes! She loves it too!
Carson got his cut too....pretty short! Handsome boy!

Photoshoot Attempt...Rather Unsuccessful!

A couple of weeks ago after church I had it in my head that I was going to get that perfect picture of all three kids to hang on the wall....yeah right! Here's our attempt...
With wind blowing like this I should've known from the beginning it wasn't meant to be!
Smelling flowers....cute, but not quite what I was going for...

Time to break out the lollipops!

Probably the best one we got in my mind...cute, but not really "wall worthy!"
Oh well, we'll try again another day!

Uncle Tom and Aunt Jodi's Farm

We always enjoy getting to visit Uncle Tom and Aunt Jodi's farm when we go to Ida Grove. This was the first time Carson and Ava rode on their pony, Popcorn.

Erin really enjoys playing with them!

They always have beautiful sunflowers! Last year Carson and Ava helped plant them.

Mandy's Wedding

This was definitely one of those "I'm old" moments! Mandy is my first babysitting kid to get married! We were so glad we could make the trip to her wedding...it was so great to see all the Stoltenbergs again!
Here's Mandy and Ava...
Mandy and Carson...he was so shy!

Mandy and Taylor
Aunt Alyssa was at the wedding babysitting so it was fun to hang with her too!
Daddy dancing with his girl
Bustin' the moves with Carson

Kayla, Mandy's younger sister, and Ava

And this is Marcus, Mandy's younger brother. Crazy I babysat him as a baby and now he is as tall as me!
The morning after the wedding Ava was so interested in "brides." So she tried on my wedding dress!

Carson wanted to be a "prince." So he got to wear one of Grandpa Ray's suits!

Some Quiet Moments

As you can probably guess, quiet moments don't happen very often at our house. So, it's always nice to capture a few! Love these...
