The Nursery is DONE!!!!!

That's right, the nursery is done!! Cutting it a bit close, but it's done none-the-less! Carson and Ava are pretty proud of their sister-to-be's room! They don't even care any more that their toy room has been moved...

Ava and Carson's contribution...their abstract paintings! They are very proud of these...and we had a lot of fun making them! (Carson's is on the left, Ava's on the right)

We hope the baby enjoys her new room....and we hope that in only a few short days she will be able to enjoy it! We'll keep you posted!!

My Favorites

Of course, I used Easter as an opportunity for a mini photo shoot...and was really happy with these "candid" shots! There's a lot of love between these two kiddos and I think these first few pictures really capture it!

Easter

We had a nice Easter, celebrating as a family! Carson and Ava have started to understand the meaning of Easter this year, which is really cool to see. When we ask them what is special about Easter, they say "Jesus died on the cross to take away our sins." It is great to see them have this perspective on Easter!

Family picture at church...

Excited to see what the Easter bunny brought! When I got home from singing in church, they were in their room with Dad, pretending to be asleep so they didn't scare him away!

Hunting for eggs....

They thought it was very funny that the Easter bunny left a trail of eggs leading to their Easter baskets, and even hid eggs in Dad and Mom's shoes!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Carson and Ava had their first experience coloring Easter eggs...they had a good time, and did a great job!

EggStravaganza

We went to the Coralville 10,000 EggStravaganza....not worth going to get eggs, as there are 10,000 kids there as well! But it was fun to get to check out the fire truck and try on the hat!

Of all the eggs, Carson and Ava only got 3 because we were in the back on the line! Oh well!!

Easter Egg Hunting

The day before Easter we had a neighborhood Easter egg hunt...it's an annual occurrence that we are excited about! The kids had a blast!

Outside Time

The weather is finally starting to warm up on a more consistent basis! So we are enjoying being outside. Ava loves to twirl in the swing!

33 weeks...a few weeks late!

Here I am 33 weeks pregnant...so this post is a bit old! Carson and Ava thought I needed to carry both of them...so I guess I'm holding all 3 of the kids here!

Grace's 1st Birthday!

I can't believe that my niece is one!! We had a great time at her birthday party!!

We all stayed at a hotel that night...it was fun to get to go swimming...it's been awhile! Ava continues to be our little fish!

Carson loves the water too...but would prefer to stay close to the side!
