We enjoyed a fun outing to the Hawkeye basketball game on Monday night...thanks for the tickets Grandpa Don and Grandma Jan! Carson and Ava had a blast...enjoyed the game, eating popcorn and drinking pop...they HAD to know where Herky was at ALL times!
Toward the end of the game Carson said to me, "Mommy, I wish Herky would come and shake MY hand." We knew they'd probably be scared when we were close, but we went down to the floor to see him.
They were a bit intimidated, but at least we got some pictures! They did give him "fives"...maybe next time they'll give him hugs!
