City Park
We had lots of fun this afternoon at City Park....riding the carousel, plane, and train and playing on the playground!
Day 2 of the Shiner
Here's the black eye now 2 days old....I think it got worse today...I guess it has to get worse before it gets better....I think 2 year pictures are a couple weeks away...

Ava's Shiner
Ava got her first black eye last night...Carson decided to wrestle, and tackled her right into the wooden rocking chair! And it figures that we had two year pictures scheduled for today...well, those are cancelled, but here's our home photo shoot...

Notes from the Pence Cribs
So, I have found it very humorous to just sit and listen to Carson and Ava when they wake up from their naps! Here is a recent "language sample"...gotta love the speech pathologist in me!
(Carson jumping in his crib)
A: Chill out!
(Carson screaming)
A: No "creaming" like that!
C: Bye Ava Bye.
A: See ya later!
A: Go in timeout!
A: I love you Carson, I love you.
A: Ready set go, we're the doodlebops
C: I did it Ava, I did it!
A: No climbing Carson!
(The air conditioner kicks on)
C: What that sound Ava, what that sound?
A: (Singing) Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are, up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky
A: Where mama go?
A: Mama, I want out!
A: (reciting Brown Bear book with her own words) Banana, what you see? I see caterpillar looking at me. Caterpillar, what you see? I see white dog looking at me.
(A firetruck is heard)
A: What is that sound Carson?
C: I don't know.
A: A firetruck .
C: Wooo Wooo!

Our Day With Mommy
We love when Mommy gets to stay home from work with us! We had fun picking tomatoes from the garden, playing in our sandbox - look at the earthworm we found! - swinging, and snuggling up for a book
Rally Day
Enjoying playing at the playground after Rally Day church service....we love wearing our cool shades and hats!
